In Fómeque, Cundinamarca—near Chingaza Natural Park—Martha Isabel Hernández and María del Carmen Herrera grow coffee alongside a group of women heads of household.

For 4 to 7 years, they've done everything by hand: picking only ripe cherries, removing floaters, depulping, and fermenting in mucilage for 14 hours.

After washing, the beans sun-dry on raised beds for 12 to 18 days.

No advanced technology—just dedication and precision. Their Castillo has earned recognition in local competitions, placing among the top 20 lots.

This is coffee made by women, for quality.
