Papayo

A third-generation Colombian coffee farmer who initially pursued pilot studies abroad rediscovered his passion for coffee after recognizing the industry’s potential. Returning home, he trained in cupping and roasting, focusing on improving family processes and advancing sensory analysis. His dedication led him to specialty coffee, where he became the Colombian Cupping Champion and will compete for the world title in 2025. 

Papayo is a little-known Arabica variety from Huila, Colombia, named for its cherries that resemble papaya fruit.
